Theatre By The Lake presented in partnership with Paines Plough

Theatre By The Lake and Paines Plough present a series of short plays about the places we call home, featuring the work of Cumbrian writers Daneka Etchells, Matt Sowerby, Nina Berry and Imogen Barnfather.

“Over 7 million people in the UK have been digitally isolated during this crisis. Paines Plough and Theatre by the Lake have been offering a service to targeted groups for them to experience live performances of the plays over the phone.

This will enable isolated audience groups to have access to short on-demand culture.  We’re working in collaboration with some well-known actors to provide this caller service including David Bradley, Lisa Hammond, Julie Hesmondhalgh and Sally Dynevor.”
