A week-long communal listening experience.

Receive a different audio story each day, straight to your inbox. With tales that move from the top of Helvellyn to the bottom of the ocean, every story will plunge you into a different world – or even make you part of the story itself. Exploring myths, silence, home, friendship and hiking, five brand new audio dramas from five Cumbrian writers will be released over five days.

Along with each drama, you’ll receive ‘listening instructions’ for how best to immerse yourself in the world of the story. You might find that you’re invited to listen in the dark, or in a park with the sun on your face; we will help you create the world of the story for a fully immersive event. We’ll provide the drama, and you assemble your own listening experience.

Each drama will be released online at a different time of day from Mon 24 until Fri 28 – you are invited to join in the virtual listening party. The dramas will also be available to listen to for the full week at any time.
